Inspired by true events, the plot revolves around a young man named Steffan, who, after running out of funds from his Army Scholarship, is earning his way through college by growing and selling marijuana. His girl, Bria, is his emotional anchor. She extracts from him a promise to “quit the business and fly straight”
Unfortunately, it is not easy to retrace one’s steps after heading down certain pathways in life. Steff’s journey takes him into a world he never intended to be in “the world of crime, gangs, angry Russians, and crazy Mafioso’s.”
Steff, and his two lifelong friends Gerke, and Crazy Joe are tested with choices, and faced with crazy situations they never thought of being in. After much pain and anguish they learn the importance of true friendship, loyalty, honor, love, and over all the harsh truth, and price that comes with earning easy money.
